Research

Using the design thinking approach, I began conducting a survey to collect both quantitative and qualitative data in order to gain insights into user challenges and behaviors. When formulating questions for the online survey and interviews, my focus was on the following key questions.

  • Tell me about your experience trying to find a local worker.

  • What do you expect from local worker?

  • What do you look on when choosing a local worker?

From some interview responses, I could identify the main pain points:

The use of the hex color code #6750A4 in a find local worker mobile app offers versatility and a touch of luxury, sophistication, and professionalism. The deeper, serious tone of purple conveys trust and security, making the app more appealing to users. This distinctive and memorable color helps create a strong visual identity for the app, making it stand out from competitors.

Roboto font is a popular choice for many mobile apps and websites due to its modern and clean appearance. It is also legible on screens of various sizes and has a wide range of weights, which can be useful for different design elements in the app.
